Okay...time to get back to this blog after leaving it dormant for too long. Long story there...having to do with some health issues that kept my wife and I from undertaking any camping trips until the autumn of 2010...but it looks like we're back in business. So...I have some catching up to do. We took plenty of photos during our last two camping trips and I will be posting these along with trip logs.

Greetings Martin and Ilana, I just found your blog today! It is great to see a journal of your trip. I think you were the only people we spoke with during our trip this year. This was our 4th summer as guests of Dave Williamson and Rainbow Airways. I was a guide for the summer of 1977 at Island Lake Lodge. In retrospect I think it was the best summer of my life in the best place on earth! I'm hoping my son will take me in there when I'm 80 and that nothing will have changed! I have to mention that Dave and Rita run an exceptional operation and that Larry who is there number one man has always done everything to make our visit comfortable. Nice of you to take the time to leave a comment here. Ilana and I returned to Island Lake for another 8 day trip after the one where we saw you, and I will be posting a log of that trip in the next few days. I'm a bit behind. Sigh.
Hope you can get out there more than once a summer.
